Apex is a financial advisory firm with a national footprint. We provide financial advice to consumers and small businesses with a focus on home loans, funds management, and insurance.  The Head office is in Mt Eden, Auckland with regional offices in Tauranga, Waikato, Hamilton, and Christchurch.  This is a growing business with 80 staff nationwide, comprising of financial advisers and operational teams.

We are looking for a full-time Relationship Specialist Lead to join our growing team.

 Role Requirements:

  •  Support ongoing staffing needs, including but not limited to training and development, annual leave, and bonus assessments.

  • Engage in ongoing strategy to make continuous improvements to the team’s process.

  • Manage workloads and output to maintain Apex’s service and quality standards to clients.

  • Run and attend various meetings, including 1 on 1’s, weekly team meetings, and operational meetings with other Apex Leads.

  • Conduct outbound calls per day to existing customers, plus follow up on referred leads from clients and other teams.

  • Liaise with clients on behalf of financial advisers and arrange appointments and meetings where possible.

  • Update customer records to reflect accurate and current details in Apex’s database to maintain the credibility of the CRM data.

  • All reporting requirements are to be met on a timely basis as and when required.

 Person Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience required.

  • Customer Services background preferably in the financial services industry.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce platforms advantageous

  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to speak another language is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
