Apex is a financial advisory firm with a national footprint. We provide financial advice to consumers and small businesses with a focus on home loans, funds management, and insurance. The Head office is in Mt Eden, Auckland with regional offices in Tauranga, Waikato, Hamilton, and Christchurch. This is a growing business with 80 staff nationwide, comprising of financial advisers and operational teams.

We are looking for a full-time Relationship Specialist Lead to join our growing team.
Role Requirements:

Support ongoing staffing needs, including but not limited to training and development, annual leave, and bonus assessments.

Engage in ongoing strategy to make continuous improvements to the team’s process.

Manage workloads and output to maintain Apex’s service and quality standards to clients.

Run and attend various meetings, including 1 on 1’s, weekly team meetings, and operational meetings with other Apex Leads.

Conduct outbound calls per day to existing customers, plus follow up on referred leads from clients and other teams.

Liaise with clients on behalf of financial advisers and arrange appointments and meetings where possible.

Update customer records to reflect accurate and current details in Apex’s database to maintain the credibility of the CRM data.

All reporting requirements are to be met on a timely basis as and when required.
Person Requirements:

Previous leadership experience required.

Customer Services background preferably in the financial services industry.

Knowledge of Salesforce platforms advantageous

Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to speak another language is an advantage.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
