John White
I was born and raised in London and moved to New Zealand in 1997, settling in Whakatāne in the eastern Bay of Plenty with my locally born wife.
After several years in retail management, in 2006 I began working as a Mortgage Broker and shortly after branched out to also advise on Personal Risk Insurance.
It’s a great feeling to help people make their dreams come true and find solutions to their home finance needs. Every day I meet with people to discuss the best way for them to reach their goals, and I feel confident in the support that being part of a great team with years of experience behind us provides.
I enjoy that no two days are the same. At times this can be an emotional job dealing with possibly the biggest decisions in a person’s life, but I love knowing that I’m always thinking and acting in the best interests of my clients. Ultimately, the referrals and cards of thanks I receive tell me that my small role does make a big difference in people’s lives.
Having emigrated to New Zealand, purchased a property from family and borrowed funds to renovate our home, I understand the wide range of challenges people face when moving to a new region and going through the house buying and building process.
Outside of work I enjoy travelling, football, music, theatre and spending time with my wife and our adult children.
Our advisers are Specialists in their chosen areas, but they work closely with other Specialists within Apex Advice to provide you with tailored and holistic financial advice.
