Contrary to what many may think, I’m a believer that personal insurance should be treated as a temporary financial safety net. A necessary means which will protect clients up until they can manage their own health-related, monetary risk by self-insuring.
Having a 20-year background in the construction industry as both a tradesman and a key account manager, a large part of my work was to identify potential risks to businesses, work out how to best manage them, and put appropriate policies and procedures in place.
Being a qualified Financial Adviser who specialises in personal risk, I now use my problem-solving skillset to help the people who work within these businesses, rather than the organisations themselves.
With a young family of my own, I understand the importance of insurance, and an advocate for always being able to protect everyone’s biggest asset – Their health and their ability to earn an income.
